Therefore, we caution you that it is possible you could receive a response from someone who may not have the best of intentions. FOR YOUR PROTECTION, please be careful when interacting with an individual outside of our firefighting community. We recommend that you DO NOT GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION via e-mail or by telephone unless you are 100% comfortable doing so. Please be especially careful if someone e-mails you and states that they are a broker who wants to purchase your item without seeing it and offers you a check that is for more than the amount you are asking. They will ask that you send a check for the difference. This type of transaction is a fraud attempt, because their check is usually a non-negotiable item that will bounce when deposited into your account. REMEMBER: If there is any portion of a transaction that you are uncomfortable with, please discontinue interacting with the potential buyer.

To request that an item be posted, whether you are a buyer or seller, please e-mail buyselltrade@fire-cu.org or call 317-636-4228. Be prepared to provide details about the item you are selling or looking for and contact information, including a telephone number. If you are a firefighter, please also provide the Fire Department station and shift where you are employed. Items will remain listed for 1 month or until we are instructed by the advertiser to remove an item.
